In Uganda, the Learning Hub has translated research into action by working closely with the Uganda National Expanded Programme on Immunization, the World Health Organization, district health teams, and village health teams to improve planning, outreach, and service delivery for zero-dose and under-immunized children. Through tailored policy recommendations, real-time data use, and local engagement strategies, stakeholders have adopted evidence-based approaches such as microplanning and community-led follow-up. These efforts have led to tangible improvements, including expanded outreach and targeted discussions on village health team sustainability. The Spotlight highlights how collaboration and context-specific knowledge translation strategies are strengthening Uganda’s immunization system.
