The introduction of the typhoid conjugate vaccine (TCV) in Nepal presented an opportunity to identify and reach zero-dose children during the vaccination introduction's catch-up campaign. Based on a series of key informant interviews with stakeholders at different levels of the health system, this case study describes how Nepal used the introduction of a new vaccine to identify children who were missing other routine vaccines and provides lessons learned for how immunization campaigns can be tailored to reach zero-dose children.
